By accessing or using MarinerWork ("the Site," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of the Site

MarinerWork is an informational directory of US-flag maritime employers, job listings, and training resources. The Site is provided for personal, non-commercial use by job seekers, mariners, and maritime professionals. You may not:

Accuracy of Listings

Company listings, careers links, and job postings are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing. Job openings may close without notice. You are responsible for verifying any information before acting on it.

Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party websites including employer careers pages, ATS portals, and job boards. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Clicking a link does not constitute an endorsement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarinerWork and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including reliance on inaccurate job listings, failure to obtain employment, or inability to access the Site.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Disclaimer

MarinerWork is not a recruiter, staffing agency, or employment agency. We do not represent any employer listed on this Site. We do not facilitate applications, negotiate employment terms, or guarantee job placement.

Submitting your information through a linked employer's careers page or ATS portal is a direct interaction between you and that employer. MarinerWork is not a party to that transaction and bears no responsibility for hiring decisions, interview processes, or employment outcomes.

Job postings listed in the Jobs tab are sourced from publicly available employer careers pages. We do not guarantee that listed positions are still open, accurately described, or accepting applications. Always verify directly with the employer.

MarinerWork does not verify the credentials, safety record, working conditions, or employment practices of any listed employer. Mariners are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before applying to or accepting employment with any company.

3. Advertiser & Sponsor Disclosure

MarinerWork offers paid advertising and sponsorship packages to maritime employers. Paid placements are clearly identified on the Site as follows:

Paid placements do not affect the accuracy of company information. Advertisers do not influence which companies are included in the directory. All US-flag maritime employers are eligible for inclusion regardless of advertising status.

4. Privacy Policy

What We Collect

MarinerWork collects minimal personal information. We may collect:

We do not require account creation. We do not collect resumes, work history, or personal mariner credentials. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

The Site may use minimal local storage to remember your filter preferences within a session. We do not use tracking cookies or behavioral advertising cookies.

When you click a link to a third-party employer site or job board, you are subject to that site's own privacy policy.
